| Welcome to Lionel Playford's web site. Take a look at the different galleries for images of my work. You can enlarge each image twice by clicking on it and clicking on it again so that you can see a considerable amount of detail in the surface. There's a new body of paintings emerging from my studio for exhibition in 2010. The project is called Earth Journey and is a collaboration with poet Josephine Dickinson and film maker Alastair Simmons. Look out for the Earth Journey gallery coming soon. If there are any paintings or drawings you wish to buy please email me via the contact section and I can arrange for you to view the work at my studio or to send it via parcel post or courier. We can discuss precise details regarding price, payment methods and carriage if you are definitely interested in a purchase. You can see original works in various venues around Alston Moor in north east Cumbria including in my studio at Rose House, Garrigill about 3 miles up the river Tyne from Alston. I have a small but growing range of high quality prints and greetings cards of my paintings for sale. Any of these can be posted for a small p&p charge to anywhere in the world. Likewise original paintings can be posted for a charge depending on size and packaging required. I hope you enjoy the work. Come and visit the studio sometime. |
